Dress
Lounge Suit - we're dressing up! But be somewhat practical with footwear, and if in doubt, bring a spare pair of shoes (or wellies!).

Tullow has Mount Wolesley Hotel and Spa offering holiday houses within 15 minutes drive. In Carlow Town are The Woodford Dolmen Hotel and The Talbot Hotel. Further afield is the 5 star Mount Juliet operated by Marriott.
Carlow Tourism offers ideas of things to do in the area, including Visual - a fabulous art gallery and theatre, river trips and gardens tours. Kilkenny City is less than an hour away and is the most popular tourist town outside of Dublin - check out the castle and cathedral (from which the name Kilkenny derives - "church of canice") with round tower.
Near Ballin Temple, Clonegal offers a Michelin restaurant, Sha Roe, and tours of Huntingdon Castle which has been in the same family for centuries.
